"Payment Went Through Without Any Drama"
I’ve used chowbus a handful of times now, the payment part has been a total non-event in the best way. My card goes through fast, no mysterious double charges, no random pending transactions lurking around like a villain in the background. Receipts show up right away too, which makes it easy for me to keep track of everything. So far, the billing has been reliable and painless, and I have zero complaints

"Verification was easy"
Had to get back into my Chowbus account and do the whole verification thing. it was simple enough. They sent the code quick, I put it in, and I was logged in without messing around too much. Nothing really tripped me up, it just kinda worked the way it was supposed to. Solid experience overall.

So... the tracking was actually super helpful. I could see where my driver was, and the estimated time updated quickly. They also texted me when the restaurant was taking longer, which was nice because I wasn’t just sitting there guessing. The food still showed up warm, and the driver called me since my apartment entrance is kind of confusing. Overall, it was a smooth order

"My order got canceled by the restaurant..."
My order got canceled by the restaurant twice, which was definitely frustrating, but Chowbus handled it well. They let me know right away, and the refund went through without me having to keep asking about it. Support was nice and easy to deal with too. It wasn’t really their fault the restaurant canceled, so I still had a good experience overall

"So much easier than before"
I love being able to see the restaurant ratings right away. In the past, I’d have to click around or second-guess where to order from, but now it’s much easier to quickly pick a place that looks good

"I’m relieved by how much easier it is..."
I’m relieved by how much easier it is to order now. The menus are translated well enough that I don’t have to guess what I’m clicking anymore, and the whole process feels simple. I did ask support a quick question and they basically said, “Just choose your language and the menu should show up translated,” which is pretty much exactly how it worked. Nice little improvement.

"Super easy pickup with no real hassle"
I used Chowbus for a pickup order and everything went smoothly. The pickup time in the app was accurate, and my food was already packed up when I arrived, which was nice. Nothing was missing and there weren’t any weird issues. Even if there had been a tiny delay, I wouldn’t have minded much, but it was easy. I’ll probably use it again when I’m ordering from places nearby.

I’ve ordered from Chowbus a few times now, and while I don’t remember every single thing I got, I do remember the food showing up fresh and still hot each time. The noodles really stood out to me, and the portions were bigger than I expected. For Asian food delivery, it’s been way better than some other apps I’ve tried.

"Showed up right on time"
I ordered dinner through Chowbus on a weeknight and wasn’t expecting much, but it ended up being smooth. The app said around 35 minutes and the driver got to my place right about then, maybe even a little early. The food was still hot, which is the main thing for me. "Group lunch was surprisingly painless"
I used chowbus for a work group lunch, i’m a little biased because I hate being the person who has to organize everyone’s food. This made it way easier than usual since everyone could add their own order, and I wasn’t stuck chasing people in Slack asking what they wanted.
The only annoying part was that one person’s item got marked unavailable kind of late, which threw things off a bit. But checkout was simple, the food showed up together, and overall it saved me a lot of hassle, so I’d give it 4 stars.

"Pretty reliable and easy to use"
Chowbus has been reliable for me so far. I like that there are a lot of restaurants nearby on there, including some I didn’t expect to find. Most of the time when I check, there are delivery options available, so it just makes ordering simple, if that makes sense.

"Fair Support Experience After a Missing Item"
Part of my order was missing, so I ended up opening a dispute through Chowbus. It wasn’t super quick, and I did have to explain what happened and send photos, but their support team got back to me and the refund showed up after a couple of days. I do wish the process was a bit faster, but they didn’t brush me off or make it difficult. A friend had told me Chowbus support was usually fair, and that matched my experience. Not perfect, but handled reasonably well, so I’d give it 4 stars...

"Great food options, but the communication could be clearer"
Chowbus has way more Asian restaurants near me than the other delivery apps, which I really like. I even found a couple of smaller places I didn’t know delivered at all. It definitely makes choosing dinner easier when I’m too tired to cook. My only annoyance is that some of the updates and communication can be kind of unclear, so I’m left guessing what’s going on with my order sometimes.

I use Chowbus all the time because checking dietary and allergen info is actually easy before I order. I have a nut allergy, so not having to guess or make the dramatic pre-dinner phone call every single time is a huge relief. Not every restaurant listing is flawless, but most of them have clear enough notes to help me feel safe. it makes ordering food so much less stressful.
